In my lowest of lows, this was how I felt. Being overweight was extremely frustrating because growing up, I always played sports and stayed super active so I never had to worry about my weight. But when I finished school and was thrown into the corporate world, I just didn’t have the time or energy after my long days to go to the gym or meal prep. I tried to stay active but my binge eating issues and yo-yo dieting habits kept me in a painful cycle for a very long time.
I used to be so uncomfortable with how I looked and I was embarrassed to be around other people. I felt ashamed. I felt unattractive. I didn’t fit into any of my clothes and I started avoiding social gatherings because I didn’t want to be around others and be judged. Not only that, but I felt horrible on the inside too. My energy levels were at an all-time low and I was so depressed that I found it difficult just to get out of bed.
I felt SO lost and I didn’t know where to start.
