JUST DO THE DAMN THING

 

Plan to workout out EVERY DAY (Yes, you read that right..)

Inevitably stuff WILL come up: you stay late at work, you have to pick up your kids from school, you get stuck in a meeting, you don't have the energy etc....

THESE days (When you absolutely CANNOT go to the gym) will serve as your rest days.... But no need to feel guilty about it since you worked out every other day, does this make sense?!

If you have the energy to work out, DO IT! If you don't, take a second to ask yourself if you're actually too exhausted or if you just don't want to go. (You can also implement the tip I shared last week: if you don’t feel like going to the gym, still go, but work your favorite body part. It’ll be more enjoyable and you’ll actually feel accomplished for going).

This has always been how I structure my rest days because how crazy is it to rest on a “designated rest day” when you actually have the energy to work out?!
